The Critique
Marcello Previtali is an artist of "breed"; he is the son of Delfo Previtali, the great Roman artist who passed on to him the love for art and the concept of beauty.
Marcello Previtali is a digital artist; his expressive form can easily be placed within abstract neo-impressionism.
The artist prefers themes related to Nature, represented as if it were an eternal spring. The stems he creates seem to dance, a rhythmic and sacred intertwining and distancing. A whirlwind of colors and shapes make Previtali's work unique and unrepeatable. Compared to the historical impressionists, he bypasses the need to narrate, to describe a situation or rather, a sensation; he goes straight to the essence, to the heart that is movement, that is a subtle balance of forms and sensations.
