Tina Arvanitaki was born in Thessaloniki on May 17, 1968. She is married and has two children. She studied at the Technological Institute of Thessaloniki (TIT), where she earned a degree in "Computer Systems Analysts and Programmers." She worked for 10 years (1987-1997) as a freelancer in the development of computer applications. From 1997 to 2017, she worked as Special Technical Laboratory Staff at the Department of Applied Informatics of the School of Information Sciences at the University of Macedonia. From 2018 to the present, she has been working at the Department of Music Science and Art at the University of Macedonia.

 

She speaks English and French and is involved in the translation of the following books:

 

- 1992 PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) by F. Petruzella, Mac Grow Hill editions

 

- 1994 Microprocessors by I. Gilmour, Mac Grow Hill editions.

 

The range of her amateur activities, cultivated since her childhood, extends from painting (in particular oil, watercolor, and acrylic painting) to design, music, and decoration, mainly through up-cycling structures made with recycled materials.
