About his Art
Tetsuji Endo was born in Chiba, Japan on September 21, 1977.
He graduated in 2002 from the prestigious Musashino Art University (Musashino bijutsu Daigaku) in Tokyo, specializing in oil painting.
During the same period, he carried out mural and interior decorations.
From 1999 to 2002, he set up exhibitions in Japanese art galleries and promoted them.
From 2002 to 2005, he worked as a set painter at the Shinbashi and National Theatres of Tokyo, driven by the desire to gain a deeper understanding of Japanese culture.
In 2006, in order to study Italian art and culture more deeply, he decided to move to Italy, a country extremely rich in works of art that have always fascinated and inspired him.
In Italy, he works as an interior decorator and creates paintings for private clients.
Since 2007, he has decided to move permanently to Italy in order to have the opportunity to contribute to the conservation and safeguarding of the extraordinary Italian works of art.
Through the artistic experience he has developed in Italy, the artist wishes to express his identity as a deeply Japanese man.
