About her Art
Anastasiya is an artist from Belarus, currently living and painting in Lithuania. Her artistic vision has been shaped by a profound admiration for nature and its harmony. At the heart of her practice lies a deep connection with animals — embodiments of purity and sincerity — through whose images she communicates personal reflections, emotions, and social commentary.
Working within the genre of naive art, Anastasiya has discovered her distinctive artistic voice. Her signature “roundies” — whimsical depictions of animals with softened, rounded forms — invite viewers with their charm, yet subtly reveal underlying questions about contemporary society and its challenges.
Through the mediums of acrylic and oil, she creates paintings that balance simplicity of form with layered meaning, offering works that are at once playful, contemplative, and deeply resonant.
