About her Art
I had the pleasure of
exhibiting this young South Korean artist in a prestigious exhibition in Venice, who received great acclaim from both the public and critics.
Talking about Yeon-gyeong-seo implies a profound understanding of the concept of abstraction, or rather, the concept of abstract landscape.
In her small canvases, she transforms the meadows and mountains surrounding her city into emotions that transcend the sense of form and
color.
These canvases vibrate with perceptions and the sounds of color that make this painting impalpable on the one hand, but on the other, extrapolate
an inner world that brings out a great love for nature and for life.
She began painting as a child, and this journey has brought her to the present day, transforming the child she once was into a painter of great depth and skill.
Yeon-gyeong-seo will continue to amaze us with her art, and I am convinced that over time we will hear about her art in important international contexts.
