About her Art

ed7ea833-247e-4bf9-9743-b079ad4bd1e2

My work is the expression of my imagination which draws its sources from my dreams, from Nature and from the reality of the world.

I start a composition with the base colors. Then I add a contrasting color and shape it with both a pallet knife and a line. The form is spontaneous; no definitive image emerges in my mind before any approach. After the contrasts, I focus on the details. Depth is achieved layer by layer. The composition appears in the final structure.
I translate the strength of the feelings and emotions I experience through the intensity and vivacity of the colors I use. The form is diluted in the color. This chromaticism, both abundant and joyful, underlines the form by putting it in the spotlight through a line with a strong presence. Although my art is abstract, allusions to figurative visions dot my works. But it is essentially the dialectic between color and form that takes precedence in the conception of the subject.
The viewer can thus freely feel the painting, and create a story that is their own interpretation of the work.
