About her Art

Artist Statement Line art, direct expression of the state of mind, this has been the essence of my path since the first years of my life. Born in Osaka, Japan, I started Japanese calligraphy at the age of 6 with renowned masters. In 1987 I moved to Paris, where I was in charge of the Japanese art and Buddhist art workshops at the Musée Guimet from 2002 to 2011.

My path has always been enriched by precious discoveries from different cultures and different natures. In addition to creating mainly black - white - golden paintings -, I've also being working in digital art with a whole rage of varied colors. Śūnyatā - Non-duality, Peace.
